Asian Youth Imagination 2 (AYI2) adalah kelanjutan sebuah event pertama di Jepang yang di inisiasi Kana Fukushima. Kemudian dilanjutkan dan dikurasi oleh Ferial Afiff bersama tim produksi we.are.imagining.

Event ini bukan milik seseorang atau lembaga tertentu. Dibuat dengan maksud mengumpulkan performer muda Asia, membangun jaringan, menjadi pembelajaran secara individu maupun bersama.

AYI2 mengambil tajuk "Visual Exhibition Utilizing Performance", dimana masing-masing seniman menampilkan karyanya bersamaan, sehingga terjadi layaknya sebuah pameran dimana penonton dapat memilih siapa yang hendak dilihat. 

Emonk performance

Citra Pratiwi dan Muhammad Lugas Syllabus menampilkan sebuah performans lintas karya instalasi. Rennie Agustine, Redcat, Mochammad Anggawedhaswhara melakukan performan berdurasi panjang dan interaksi penonton. Sisanya menampilkan karya berupa dokumentasi video. Serta ratusan foto dokumentasi performan dari IVAA yang dikordinasi Pitra Hutomo, berupa kumpulan yang jarang sekali ditampilkan kembali.

Dalam AYI2 juga terdapat dua diskusi. Pertama berupa diskusi internal yang sangat intensif dan ketat, mengenai apa saja yang sudah ditampilkan, dari masing-masing seniman, dan pengamatan bersama. Kedua berupa diskusi publik bersama Yustina Neni, Arief Yudi Rahman, Agus Jemat, dan Iwan Wijono yang dikordinasi Fery Oktanio.

Asian Youth Imagination 2 (AYI2) is the continuation of a first event in Japan that Kana Fukushima initiate. Then the second event was proceed and curated by Ferial Afiff, together with the production team: we.are.imagining. This event is not owned by someone or institution. Created with the intention of collecting young Asian performers, build networks, as a learning field for individually or together.

The theme of AYI2 is "Visual Exhibition Utilizing Performance", which each artist displaying his work at the same time, so there like an exhibition where viewers can choose who want to be seen.  

Redcat performance

Citra Pratiwi and Muhammad Lugas Syllabus shown a performance-installation work. Rennie Agustine, Redcat, Mochammad Anggawedhaswhara perform long durational performance and based on the interaction with audiences.  

Kana performance

 The rest shown a video documentation. And hundreds of photo documentation of performance from IVAA archives, selected a collection who've been rarely displayed by Pitra Hutomo.

Angga performance

There are two discussions. First is internal of what has been shown, from each artist and together observations. Second is the public with Yustina Neni, Arief Yudi Rahman, Agus Jemat, Iwan Wijono coordinate by Fery Oktanio.

Orang Indonesia meninggalkan budaya tradisi, kemudian bangsa lain menelaah budaya tradisi Indonesia. Kini orang Indonesia memilih bergaya MTV dan minum Cocacola. Sementara bangsa lain memproduksi motif batik, belajar gamelan, dan mengekspor teh serta ramuan herbal Indonesia.

A lot of Indonesian don't want to know the traditional culture, but others learn/observe/research our traditional culture. Indonesian chose the MTV-style and drink Coca cola. While other nations produce batik, studying gamelan, and exporting tea and herbal of Indonesia.
